Eriks Bredovskis
Eriks is a PhD candidate in the department of history at the University of Toronto. His PhD dissertation now examines German anxiety of the United States ca. 1880–1920. His original PhD project was going to examine the lived-experiences of minorities in Berlin’s urban public transit system, specifically how sound and smell have been used to assert or subvert existing class or gender relations. Eriks maintains Aural Transit’s website and is a primary recorder (or is it author?) of the soundscapes.
