Eriks Bredovskis

Eriks is a PhD student in the department of history at the University of Toronto. His PhD dissertation examines the lived-experiences of minorities in Berlin’s urban public transit system, specifically how discourses relating to sound and smell in transit are used to assert or subvert existing class or gender relations (ca. 1880–1933).  Eriks maintains Aural Transit’s website and is a primary recorder (or is it author?) of the soundscapes.
